I had to stop using my beloved Medik8 Crystal Retinal otherwise I can and have continued with my usual skincare routine.
Year round I put a lot of focus into my gut health as well as taking many ingestible beauty products which I have been able to continue with when pregnant and I don’t know if its luck or the products but my skin has stayed the same in terms of hydration and texture which I am grateful for.
I have noticed a little more pigmentation pop up which I had in my first pregnancy and it faded not long after birth. I keep the Coola Refreshing Water Mist Sunscreen at my desk and use this throughout the day as I sit right next to a window – keeping my skin protected and also its such a lovely and refreshing product.
I’ve been supporting my immune system with a lot of supplements as I’m trying to steer clear of any sort of sickness, walks in the sunshine, lots of cuddles with my little boy and pregnancy massages from The Facialist.
I use the Josh Rosebrook Daily Acid Toner which I have been using for a few years now and don’t think I’ll ever stop – dreamiest product which produces incredible results.
I was using IS Clinical Active Serum which I loved but when I ran out I switched to Medik8 Bakuchiol Peptides to help with pigmentation (A retinol alternative, so perfect to use when pregnant!) and Circumference Botanical Facial Oil which my skin just laps up. I tend to have dry skin so oils take preference in my skincare routine.
Before I put on serums on I use the Josh Rosebrook Daily Acid Toner which I have been using for a few years now and don’t think I’ll ever stop – dreamiest product which produces incredible results.
In the morning I’m time poor so have been living on smoothies for breakfast – water, ice, frozen banana and cauliflower, spinach, protein powder, vitamin d and magnesium powder, greens powders and lots of cacao. Super filling and nice to know I am giving my body, and babies, lots of extra nutrients.
Fresh orange juice, anything spicy and sour lollies.
